Do you think society is more corrupt than it was?

This is a debatable subject. The FBI or some such agency might have numbers on the degree of corruption. I'm sure someone does. Lacking that, I am inclined to believe that it is easier to slide into moral corruption than it was. The internet makes perversion easier. Computers make megacrime easier. Dope seems to be pervasive. The criminal judicial system certainly isn't doing what we want it to do. 2/3 of inmates return to jail. But 1/3 do not. Is that an improvement? Certainly, big crime, like Enron, seems to be thriving. How much will we tolerate?
