Why do some atheists belong to church although they don't believe in God?

I know many atheists who belong to church, and majority of Finns belong to the Evangelical Lutheran church of Finland, but I can say that a lot of those who do don't actually believe in God. What's the sense of that? And note: I know the amount is decreasing each year.
