Has anybody ever applied for 4 credit cards on the same day and was later approved for all of them?

The idea that leeds to this question is that if all the creditors do their credit inquiries on the same day they won't see each others inquiries because the credit bureaus take longer then a day to post inquiries, and if that is true makes it more likely that they will all appove your application. But I'm not sure if this idea is true either.
