Advice Needed: I finally told my parents, after two years of secrecy,...?

That I converted to Catholicism, which they did not take so well, at all. Mind you, my parents are devoted Theravada Buddhists, who have stressed over and over again that they have zero tolerance for any religion (not very buddhist of them, right?). So, when I told them, they were far from supportive and instead of accepting it how it is, my father BEATS me until I got to my "senses." My father started topunch me in the back of the head and then he left the livingroom into MY room, pulling out my drawers and throwing all my stuff (perfumes, jewelry, stuffed animals) all on the floor and began calling me "worthless *****" then he came out with my cellphone and he threw the cellphone at me like he was throwing a freakin' baseball at me. It hit me on the side of my face, but it also propelled to the sliding door's curtains, which broke one of the plastic things. Then he says "look what you made me do." So at this point, I'm on the floor, my side of the face freakin hurts and he comes up behind me and kicks me right on the tail bone. So at this point I'm thinking he is not going to stop, so I get up try to run to the back door, but he grabs me by the hair and pulls me back all the way to my room and says "your going to die in here and don't you dare escape because I will ******* find you." So now I'm on my laptop and trying to email my friends but they are not online. So I decided to tell you guys what happened and need advice on how to convince my parents that this is right for me, without getting another cellphone thrown at my face.
