Do you think this could work??

so i really like my guy friend, and i wrote a note telling him how i feel and everything (cant do it in person cuz i wont see him for a little while, and im not too good on the phone). the thing is, we will not be at the same college this year (we were last year but im transfering), and i was wondering: if he says he likes me back, do you think we could make something work? we will be 5 hours apart although i will be up at my old school/his school at least once a month for a weekend for athletics and maybe other visits to friends and stuff. do you think we could make it work?
