Perspective: Antitheists, Why Do You Oppose the Idea of a God?

I got disappointed by the arguments the religious people put forward to show that God exists. All the arguments are mostly play of words and there is no strong reason to believe that God exists. Further no religious folk has explanation about how God exists leads to validity of their religion. With something based on such weak foundation they have managed to incite hatred and murder in the world already plagued by suffering of innocents. So the idea of God that they have is very narrow, the God wants some people to be killed just because they don't believe in one of the mutually contradictory versions of God's word. Who would not oppose such God?
