Why do people think the ozone hole is "not an issue?" Don't they know IT'S GETTING BIGGER?

Because DuPont made a bloody fortune. Their scientists 'discovered' the ozone hole and then claimed that refrigerant R-12 was a major contributor. Amazingly enough, Dupont had the patent on the R-134 replacement refrigerant (making them billions more in profit) and costing the industry and it's customers billions upon billions of dollars.
