I'm a freshman in high school and I've been the best of friends with this guy since 8th grade. Not a very long time but we got very close very fast. He was the sweetest thing up until recently. He said something very hurtful to me so I got mad and didn't speak to him for a while. He apologized profusely but i continued to ignore him. It wasn't until he sent me a 5 page long text explaining why he had been acting like such a jerk that i spoke to him. He had good reason to be upset and stressed out, but I told him that i was still very hurt so I stayed away from him for a little while longer. About a week later I attempted to talk to him about what he told me in the text and he acted like a complete jerk (this was in person and he was with his brother and his friend). He said that his other friends got him through it and he didn't want to talk about it anymore. That was fine but I don't understand why he is being do distant towards me. It's as if he doesn't care about me anymore and he has changed a lot. He actually started laughing when I asked him to be there for me. After that we didn't talk for about three days but then he just texted me randomly. I took that opportunity to tell him how much he'd changed and how I didn't like how he was treating me. He said that he hadn't changed and that he was just stressed out. I can understand that but after a year of friendship he has hurt me multiple times and I'm afraid if I just let things go back to normal, I will get hurt again. I love him to death (in a platonic way) and he is like my brother, I tell him everything. I want things to go back to how they were last year but I'm really not sure if they will. 4 days late negative preggo test?

I took a test on day 3 in the morning with a First Response and it was negative. I have 33 day cycles and we bd'd around ovulation time. My last period was on February 23rd. The truth is noone knows if war will happen in Lebanon but if you think about reality, all the time the media is saying there might be war soon and focusing so much attention on hezbollah etc and them doing what syria says. Each year theres always somethink that happens but the last huge one was the 2006 war so if there was another war to come it would be alot bigger and 10 times more destructive. Lots of things can trigger off war but I think some countrys dont want to aviod war, instead they want to push israel to war and they want to be in the media. Certain countrys arent known very well for much good and arent that powerful, they hear all the time wat israel does etc and irans nuclear programme, if im honest there are some nutters jelous of the fear that everyone is of that and they want to get their names back in the media. Having said that eventhough hezbollah probably brings more bad than good, without hezbollah it could be like a green light for israel to come take over lebanon. Lebanon do want peace yet Israeli planes continue to fly over lebanese airspace, i think both hezbollah and israel want war for the wrong intentions. There doesnt need to be a war with lebanon at all, its got great tourism going over there now, 2009 summer was the best for a while! Lebanon need to focus on how they can make the country better and Israel needs to be dealt with the USA on how to achieve peace with the palestines. better solution would be to give israel a land far away from its arab neighbours. The reason why the Middle East is looked down upon is because they see it as they cause problems for themselves when theres people who really need help such as the situation in Nigeria, where they dont bring it upon themselves. Whether this is true or not thats how alot see it. Realisticly Iran doesnt want peace at all and I dont think in any way tho Iran will attack Israel if there is a war on Lebanon. The only way a war will probably happen again with lebanon is some possibly kidnapping, some tension on the border, rockets, or trouble controlling the palestines in lebanon sending whatever attacks to Israel. I need surgery on my spine, am trying to get medical istance and now my prescriptions are due but they cost over $500 altogether. I am scared of withdrawing and being pregnant, the dr's have been slowly weening me but it just isn't good enough for me (I knew I would wind up in a shituation like this, have no help or support, my family doesn't know or understand my struggle with these meds and being dependent on them). Fish Advice Needed?

we had our tank last November it is 3ft everything was going well we bought 6 Zebra Danios and then 3 Molly's who had a baby Molly who grew really well. A few months ago we bought a Salifin Plec and we introduced 7 Neon Tetra's. Within a few days 4 died and now we have 3 but they are doing really well. Then one of our Molly's died and there was nothing visably wrong with her. The male molly and baby molly had prevoiusly started to get a white cotton wool type fungus which i put medication in the tank for and it improved. After the female molly died they began staying at the bottom of the tank. I took a water sample to the fish shop she said the amonia levels are slightly high so i did a water change, but nothing else seemed wrong. I have been changing the water weekly. Today i have found baby Molly has died. Myself and my husband are both really upset as he had become our favourite. We have a collection of snails which came on the plants we bought could this be a problem?please help

I think the obvious answer is yes, but how soon (or if) that happens will depend on a number of factors. The numbers you site for population are close and, without researching them, I believe fairly accurate. However, the numbers that I think are more indicative of the difference in the two cities is the population in the Metropolitan Area for each city. Chicago/Naperville/Joliet metro area is 9.5 million where Houston/Sugar Land/Baytown is 5.5 million. The difference here is much larger. Certainly Houston's growth rate is quite high, growing 25.2% between '90 and 2000. Chicago grew 11.6 % in the same time period. If these 2000 rates were right and sustained, then Chicago proper is already smaller (and event that would have occurred in 2003). The metro areas tell the same story only later. Houston metro would have surped Chicago metro last year. We'll have to see on the next census in 2010 to see if the trends held up.

Why did the makers of the revamped Reggie Perrin series have to set Martin Clunes in a men's toiletries company? Why didn't they keep him at Sunshine desserts? I thought the whole concept of Reggie in a white suit with the portable razor raft presentation absolutely ridiculous. I can see the producers would want to revamp the series to fit in with 'modern times' but frankly just re-running the original series would have been funnier.

I'm in a rather difficult situation with a man whom I have incredible chemisty with and we both have feelings for each other. Things are quite complicated, as we work together (but for two different companies), I just got out of a relationship and his long term relationship isn't going so well. I've restricted contact with him on a personal level and am keeping thing professional as I have no desire to be "the other woman". It's not right, and I know that. Laptop making funny noises when typing?

I have recently bought a new laptop. It's an Advent Modena M201, however everytime I press any key on the keypad the laptop starts making a weird buzzing sound (it's it quiet but still noticeable). Also when i have headphones in there is a loud noise, kind of like white noise when you tune between two radio stations through the headphones and also the buzzing sound from the keys is amplified through the headphones. Also i have noticed that the buzzing happens for as long as my finger is on the touch pad as well. Has anyone else experience these problems with an advent (or any other) laptop? Do you think i should take it to a computer shop to get it checked out, or does anyone know of a website with a email service (or something similar) who I would be able to contact and who would be able to tell me what the problem is? when I am older I want to be a sprinter. i am in my athletics club at school and I came 2nd in all of our matches, 1st in districts, 2nd in counties (by a tiny bit), and 1st in sports day. My event for all of those was the 80m. I am 13 and so far have had no training whatsoever and my personal best for the 80m is 11.5 which was timed at a match. My dad timed me at sports day and I got 11.3 but I don't know how accurate that was. Because the term is over and we have summer holidays now, it means I won't be sprinting for a while. Athletics is only in the summer term so have to wait another whole year. But I do have these coaching sessions at my local club as a free gift thing that you get if you come 1st, 2nd or 3rd in your event in counties. Basically I would like to know if at this age I really need to be thinking about training or not? Is it important for me to start? Thank you in advance!

Not many. This team is in bad shape. The Chargers I would have to say will be the cl of that division yet again. I think the Chiefs have been upgraded quite a bit, and I expect better out of the Raiders. All of these teams have worked and made themselves better, while the Bronco's have made themselves worse.
